Hangar Thermal Destratification System

Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska
USPFO for Alaska
Contract Amount: $462,000.00

KOMAN Diversified Services, LLC furnished and installed electronically sensed and controlled thermal destratification systems (ceiling fans) for aircraft hangars B1171 and B1176 to move warmer heated air to floor areas.

A multiple-unit approach was selected to balance temperatures from floor to ceiling, resulting in no more than a 0 to 3 degree differential and reducing the run time of heating or cooling systems.
